Those instructions are exactly correct. But they are predicated on the assumption that when you first enter the menu system you go into the record settings. A previous user may have left the device on a different menu. In which case, those instructions will not quite apply. Nevertheless. They make a good starting point. I think you first have to go in and activate The voice guidance, kinda like turning on voiceover for the first time. Is anybody else using this recorder? I’m not gonna send it back right away, I’ll mess around with it but I think I may have made a mistake purchase here. Please let me know if you’re using it.
