You should not be required to enter a password on your watch every time you
check the time.
You need to unlock your watch after you put it on, and you are good until you
take the watch off.
Unlocking your watch can be done by entering the passcode on the watch, or
unlocking your iPhone.
I have mine setup to unlock using my iPhone, and rarely have to actually enter
the passcode on the watch.
Been doing it that way since I got my first watch in 2015.

Oh, that is very convenient. Not sure it would be worth putting a password on
my watch, though. I had one for a while, but got tired of having to enter it
every time I wanted to check the time. :)
Cheers,
Donna
