Jessica,

I now understand. I can simply insert a USB drive directly into the
cartridge slot. I have many, many thumb drives and they all fit just fine.
Last night I gave it a try and the trick was to insert the drive in the very
middle of the cartridge slot, eh?

Thank you so much for your help.

Mark

mark. I forgot something.
There is also a port on the right side of the player for usb thumb
drives and other things.
The review on blidcootech I think it was recommended not using that if
you don't have to that inserting the thumb drive into the cartridge
slot really is best.
But if your particular thumb drive won't fit in the cartridge slot and
doesn't require power to power up plugging it into the usb port on the
side should work just as easily.
Just when you insert the drive into the cartridge slot just make sure
that you have the drive the right way and don't force it in. Once it is
lined up it goes right in.
Hope this helps and clears up anything I might have missed.
Jessica
