I’m having a significant problem with some apps giving me a “… Not Responding”
message. In particular, the native mail app on my Mac Mini is driving me nuts
with this. If this were only happening with network accessing apps I might be
inclined to reset my wireless modem, but strictly local apps (i.e., Checkbook
Pro among others) manifest this most annoying behavior as well. And, I never
get such results from my iOS devices.

I also have maintenance scheduled during the middle of the night every
Saturday/Sunday. I don’t think this “bottleneck” or whatever else you might
call it is supposed to operate this way.

Can anybody offer any suggestions?
