I want to thank all those responding to my e-mail initiating this thread. My school boy chum came over and helped me work this issue out and although the Mac Mini is now functioning reasonably well, the root problem is as of yet not resolved.
Let me say though, this has been a noticably more common issue lately. But yesterday’s incarnation was ridiculous; all apps were manifesting this problem for significantly extended periods. We’re talking 15 minutes to a half hour. And even then, there was no guarantee the issue would not crop up again. This is why I turned to the Macvisionaries community for any suggestions. I’m still not confident this will not rear it’s quite ugly head again. One item I do notice that might explain this issue is that I installed a thumb drive and, although I did execute the eject procedure, it appears to continue to show up in the “Locations” list. It seems to not be completely erased from that list. * * * * * * * * * * * * - Bill from Ino, Wisconsin - "I LOVE living, I have some problems with my LIFE," - "but living is the best thing they've come up with so far." - Neil Simon > On Dec 14, 2021, at 12:00 PM, 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries > <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> wrote: > > Hi, > > Two things with this message.
