In the case of some I’ve actually heard it’s that when you use their app they 
don’t get as much data from you as using the browser. Because of iOS 
limitations and privacy that they give the user the app has to illuminate 
certain things based on the users choices. Through the browser it’s much more 
open and they can collect more data from you! That being said I really hope 
with the iPad now using the M1 this becomes more of a thing but I think Donna 
is correct if developers are given the chance especially the big ones I don’t 
think we’re going to see their apps running on the Mac anytime soon.
