Hello Kimberly, As I explained to someone else yesterday. it was the OCR that took ten minutes, not the scanning. I was just using a portable USB Canon Lide 700F scanner and it took me about two hours to scan the book.
If you can find a scanner with automatic feed, VueScan can handle this.
