Jonathan,
Have had this problem with Safari all along. I’m now using MS-Edge, and find it
very responsive and not prone to the annoying beeping during a read all.
Recommend anyone who has not tried MS-Edge, to download and give it a test
drive.

Often times with MacOS Safari if you typed VO-A to read everything (especially
if you have Group Navigation turned on) VoiceOver would start making a constant
beeping sound as it tried to determine layers of the page while reading.
Usually when this happened, I could only get it to stop by turning VoiceOver
off and back on
I just did a read all of a New York Times article that had tables, cross
referenced articles and a few other layers and I did not encounter this
beeping. This was with MacOs 11.1. So perhaps this bug is finally resolved in
this weeks update.

                Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn
