Hi Eric, I have not had the chance to begin learning about Permissions yet, but have your clients music files been transferred from a Windows box? There seems to be some bug in Finder at the moment which prevents the copying of files which have come from a FAT32 drive. You'll have to use the Terminal to move them. The bug has something to do with a corrupted file.
