This is just an API that Apple and Google have built. In order to use it, you need an app. To the best of my knowledge, only three states have said they are participating in this program at this time, many have not said, and some have said no. It will be up to the health authority of each state to build their own app. Google and Apple should have built the app in my view. This is going to be slow, incomplete, and probably not very well done, e.g. look at what’s happening in the united kingdom where their app has been delayed. The three states that have said yes our Alabama, North Dakota, and I believe North Carolina. States that I’ve said no include Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Texas, and others.
