Does anyone know how/where the e-mail signatures are stored. Does individual signature reside within a dedicated file or are all signatures stored in an “archive file?”
I ask because I find the window interface used to manage signatures extremely inefficient and clumsy. As of this moment, I have a folder entitled “Signature Tags” in my Documents folder with a file for each signature; I do this because I have lost all my signatures due to glitches in the mail app. I would like to manage my signatures via the Terminal window as I am a former Bell Labs employee and am very comfortable in a shell environment. ************ - Bill from Ino, Wisconsin - “The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.” - Contributor Unknown -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
