Scott, Thanks for this, I can't find the accessibility feature in itunes. I take it I've already activated it but I can't be sure. I'm going to have to wait till I've got sighted assistance.

You can also with sighted assistance configure the setting from the iPod by going to settings, general, accessibility, and then VOiceOver. Hopefully that will get you started.
