The reason I want to switch from a nest original generation to a HomeKit thermostat. Is one I would like to be able to control everything from one program. Two would like to be able to use Siri to control it. And three there are some things such as Replace filter notifications in the nest that I don’t like. I don’t care for how it’s done.
And I’m curious why you want IP version six for your home networking? I can’t believe it’s because of the number of devices you have.
