Only my wd wireless my passport device,
That uses an app to connect to it off your wifi network and that wasn't an
issue,
I have to admit I haven't tried using any other external storage devices due to
the fact it still has a lightening port rather than usb-C,
But wifi or Bluetooth work ok thus far!!!
