Dave, NO, BootCamp is a separate boot for Windows. If you want to switch between Windows and Mac without shutting down you should use VMWare Fusion. With VMWare, you can even specify that a certain file type should be opened by a Windows application and if you open that file type on your Mac, Fusion will start Windows and then start the appropriate program. There are also lots of options to make parts of your Mac disk available to Windows. I personally have things set up so that my Documents and Downloads are shared between Windows and Mac so my Windows documents are in z:\Documents. Jonathan C. Cohn
