Hi Greg Everyone is different.
My personal suggestion would be to go to the installer for Catalina which I would assume is in your /Applications folder. Once you have this running and you get the macOS utilities Scrole down to disk utilities and run it, Then once disk utilities is up and running Eraise the Macintosh HD Once that is done Close disk utilities Then go to the install macOS option in the utilities and continue the installation of your os from scratch on a blank drive. Hope that helps.-----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Greg Wocher Sent: Saturday, 21 December 2019 7:22 AM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Clean install question Hello, I have a quick question about doing a clean install. Is it better to erase the hard drive first and then install or just do the reinstall without erasing first?
