Hi, Just make sure that QuickNav is turned off. Other than that, Jonathan's instructions are great. I'll break them down a little below:
• Interact with the table. • Press VO-shift-back slash (the key above the return key) This will bring you into the header area where you can VO-space on whichever of the three headings you wish to sort by. One press sorts ascending, the next descending, then ascending etc. It is a toggle. This step is unnecessary if you use the Search feature or just wish to go through them manually. If you wish to select multiple, non-contiguous entries for deletion, you must use VO navigation, not arrow navigation. That is, you need to be pressing VO-up/down as you navigate through the table. If you use arrow navigation without the VO keys, it will deselect whatever you've just selected. • VO-down through the list and press VO-cmd-return on each item you wish to delete. • keep doing this as you go down the list of contacts. • press the Delete/Backspace key to delete the selected items. That's really all that's required. Later... I have to admit that I tried all the things you suggested — selecting multiple items, and sorting. None of these keystrokes did anything at all. Am I supposed to be in a particular cursor or mouse movement mode to do this?
