I have to do this every so often. in Apple mail, press vo-m for the menu bar then vo-right arrow to "Window" at the right end. arrow down to "previous Recipients". I'm a little less clear about exactly what to do after that. you can search for the ones you don't want or just put the first 3 letters or so in and all of them will come up. you might be able to delete them using the delete key or maybe backspace. there's a "delete" to the right of each address but I found that a little more awkward to work with.
