Hem,
Took me a few weeks before I developed some keystroke habits to navigate in the
mail app.
I use VO-RightArrow to move across from the mailbox list to the message list
(two strokes).
arrow up/dow the list of messages.
VO-RightArrow twice and the message reads automatically.
Or alternatively press Return on a message and it opens, where I can arrow down
line by line. — then VO+W to close.

Whether I’m focused on a message, or have it open, Command+Shift+R does a reply
to all and Command+R does a reply.
Usually all I need to do then is type my message.
Then comes the weird part…
Press Command+Shift+D to send
If no spelling errors, I need to press that Command+Shift+D again to actually
send it.
If there were errors, I correct and usually it sends after that.
Again, it’s a bit weird in that behavior.

Composing a new message from scratch is a bit more difficult, involving a lot
more tabbing to go through the header. There is for me a delay in reporting
where I am after a tab, so often I get lost and have to tab backward to fill
something in.
Then after the subject field, I need to tab two more times before I’m in the
message area for typing. It needs to tab over the default “from” address, as
well as the default signature. If you have no more than one of each in your
settings, you may not have to deal with that annoyance.

Oh, and your message did come through, loud, clear, and a success.
