The connection method was USB. I recall the issue being in the setup of the embosser. In order to use the embosser, one has to setup an imaginary printer first and then somehow trick the computer to print to the embosser by going through this imaginary printer setup. I’m definitely distorting all the details here- It was so long ago, I don’t recollect the exact details but I know it was somewhere along this line. And I also know for a fact that on my bootcamp partition the process would work just fine.
