I freaking love my actilino for one simple reason. it has tactile scrolling. if mine broke tomorrow and it couldn’t be repaired I’d buy another. I got mine used for an awesome price a year ago, and have never looked back. My VU is in a box! if you enable tactile scrolling it moves to the next line when your fingers get to the last character. it is so great. it’s bigger than VU, and unless you have huge pockets it won’t fit, but trust me it’s worth it. this scrolling works on IOS and mac too!

I now have the VarioUltra but it begins to be a bit uncomfortable. I have looked at the Focus 14 and must admit that its a really neat and Nice display. But what about the Actilino? Does anyone on this list have one such device? I am waiting for the Swedish Company who sells that device to call me so i can get a meeting with them and have a look at the display. It seems to have some features that the Focus does not have. For example the copy text from the display directly into your Iphone or mac would be a really neat feature. Also the possibility to have the Iphone in a pocket and have the call sent to the display. The focus 14 can absolutely be put into a jackets pocket but i don’t know how big or small the Actilino is. That’s why i wonder if someone on the list has one and may be able to describe that one for me.
