Hi Jeff, As to the size of the siri remote,

They recommended the Logitech Harmony one but it has a touchscreen. They also recommended a Harmony Companion remote that doesn't have a touchscreen. And last they recommended a remote you can get on amazon for $29 and its lalredy programmed for the apple tv. I'm just not sure how easy these remotes would be for a blind person.
