Hello, Hopefully this is not going to be too confusing. Others have mentioned the finder and using the shortcut to get to the applications folder on the hard disk. This will have every program that is in the standard location on the SSD on your computer. There are two other ways to easily launch applications the Doc which has one VoiceOver shortcut control-option-d and one shortcut defined in system preferences for everybody that is usually control-F3. Generally the Doc has your favorite programs in it, and there are ways to rearrange it and remove or add items you want. On the right side of the dock common folders like documents and downloads are located and at the very end is the trash where you can recover deleted files assuming you have not emptied the trash. The third way to access applications and the one Apple promoted quite a bit, but is generally not used by VoiceOVer users is Launch Pad. I believe this is run by pressing F4 you should then hear a whooshing sound and you will have a grid very much like the Home Screen of a iPhone. In my above descriptions I mentioned both control-F3 and F4 depending on a setting in the keyboard preferences you will probably need to press the “fn” button in addition to the other keys to use these features.
