It's there if you go to system preferences then hit the Advanced button
and then go to the Ethernet tab and look for something called Ethernet
ID. You can also get it from About This Mac from the Apple Menu by going
into More Info and then interact with the list on the left to find
Network and then navigate to the list on the upper right which shows
AirPort and Ethernet. Select on of those, stop interacting, and then go
to the lower pane which will tell you everything about the interface. At
towards the very end you'll find something called MAC Address. I use MAC
address filtering on my wireless router to add some measure of
protection against freeloaders but there really is no security for
wireless networks.
Hope this helps.

Hi List,
Finally I've got my new mac book pro.
I need to get a couple of things sorted out for work such as registering
it on our network, this means I need the Ethernet address for both the wired
and wireless / airport network adaptors.
Can someone tell me where I go to find these,
I know it's unders system properties / networking but I can't find it from
there.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Simon
