Mozilla has a blind employee based in Hamburg with whom I had worked at FS. He uses a Mac as well as other systems, out of curiosity, I will ping him regarding Mac and Firefox.
My sighted wife switches between Safari and Chrome depending upon the page and its types of content. This is very sad as the entire www concept was to be neutral across OS and user agents (browsers and such). We're nearly back to the old days with an added layer of complexity: instead of just OS, we need to think about OS/browser pairs in determining compatibility.
