Well my set up experience of the 10 was probably more worse than yours Dona. Lets say I messed up my passcode, although getting beyond the first step was very hard. Then the verification wouldn't work so I had to call the Accessibility line, they had to send me a file to get the I phone erased and someone on the list had to help me as they were using Audio face time with me. I didn't go to bed that night as I had a 36 hour day as I had to go to work and I don't know how I got through my day of work. I felt stupid and thought that there was something wrong with me letting a bit of technology defeat me. That is why I didn't go to bed, I was going to get my I phone ten set up come what may.
I didn't put my old phone against the new for an automatic set up as I had tried to do that with my new 3 gen watch and it never worked and it doesn't work now if I try as I probably don't know where to put the watch for my phone to help me do such a thing. With regards to Jonathan Mossen's podcast, he had sighted assistance and he had someone to tell him all the way as to what to do so how can that be setting up an i phone from scratch on your own? Just my opinion. I didn't want to post my experience as I felt rather stupid.
