I was using my iPad mini 4 this morning when having a coffee at a café, I had to manually tell my iPad to use my earpods as it wouldn't select them by default. Then I had to tell them to switch back to my phone I have to do the same with my watch when I wish to listen to something off that.
It really is a pain in the ass. Mind you I do wonder how they would get it auto switching in a way that wouldn't be non problematic to the user. -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com [mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Daniel Miller Sent: Monday, 23 October 2017 12:06 AM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: audio switching on AirPods with latest software? Hi. I recently got an email from an Apple advisor who talked to an engineer about that problem. The engineer told him that when voiceover is active on both devices, the phone takes priority over the watch. I do not like that intention, but unfortunately that’s how the behavior is supposed to be. They have put it as a feature request, to see if they could possibly fix it in the future version of iOS. Or watchOS.
