That is, turning on your Mac and holding down the cmd and r keys right after pressing the power button. Hold those keys down for about five to ten seconds then release. Wait about a minute then press cmd-f5 to turn VO on and see if it speaks. If it doesn't, wait a minute longer then try again. If VO does start then, we can proceed from there. Later...
