Hi all,

This morning I was doing some research for a friend and it got me thinking
about my own household. For years, I’ve wanted to cut the cable cord. It
looks like Hulu live with cloud DVR might finally be the answer for those
reluctant cord cutters.

My question for the groups are what has been your accessible experience? For
iOS and Apple TV, I’m familiar with Netflix and traditional Hulu. I haven’t
tried either of these services on the Mac.

I’m completely unfamiliar with Sling TV and it’s level of accessibility.
Reading about it this morning though, I like the pricing and channel offerings.

I did some reading about the Roku for my sighted friend, but that accessibility
part is a little off topic for these groups. :)

What has been your experiences? I will say one big drawback of cutting the
cable cord is losing audio description. As far as I’m aware, only Netflix
offers this. It’s too bad on the iOS apps or Apple TV, the networks don’t
include it.

Thanks for sharing with the group,
Traci
