Hi,
If you are going to have a self hosted podcast Blubrry Powerpress is
quite good and accessible as far as the Wordpress plugin.
For the other things you want to do, probably a decent social sharing
plugin and a security plugin such as wordfence, a spam firewall such as
cleantalk.
If you don't have a spam firewall, very soon your blog will be riddled
with spam.
Cleantalk isn't free, but IMHO it is well worth the subscription.
Some plugins are free, some are free with premium upgrades, sometimes
the premium upgrade is a one time charge and other times it is a
subscription.
Sometimes you can find a free plugin that would be the framework but if
you want to add extra features and functionality, you would purchase
addons to that "free" plugin.
