Well John, I read your post. What I am going to say may seem somewhat contravercial, but, here goes. While I personally disagree with Jonathan’s decition to leave the Mac world, I do appreaciate that it’s his right and indeed moral obligation to do so. Why? Simple. We all love our Macs here: and, I’m sure we are all sorry to see you, Jonathan, leave the Mac world: however, the bottom line is the bottom line. It’s your choice. Altimately, you’ve got to make the decition that suits your circumstances most effectively. IF the Mac is not part of your solution, well, it just isn’t and that’s all there is to it. Some might, perhaps, think you a trator for leaving us: I, however, say otherwise. Indeed, you would be a trator if you did not do for your own use situation the thing or things you found best to both do and use. There are some here who use windows on their Macs; but as for me, I shan’t ever do so. I’ve left windows behind for good as I felt the Mac would better meet my current needs. Looks to me like I was right. Apple INc is not a religion. It’s a computer company. One thing I must say in closing is this. I hope and trust that most of the members on this list will side with me and appreciate that in order to do what you do to the greatest degree of effectivness, you feel that the Mac is not for you. I am personaly sorry this is so, but, you’ve got the right and indeed moral obligation to take the road you feel will get you along to where you need to go.
