Hi Chris,

I realize that since I spent all of my post answering Anouk's question
about how to make an on-line purchase of Fusion 3 with an academic
discount I never addressed your pricing remark. The academic discount
for VMware Fusion is 50 per cent, so the standard academic discount
price for Fusion 3 in the U.S. is $39.99. That's less than the $56
dealmac.com price, although going through some other route might make
for an easier buying experience.

Also, I don't know whether you can also input coupon codes for
additional discounts. (There's a field for coupon codes on the VMware
Fusion 3 check-out screen, and I think you apply any codes entered in
the text field by pressing the item just marked "button" with VO-Space
immediately after these fields)

Let me also remind everyone that VMware is sponsoring free copies of
"Take Control of VMware Fusion 3" by the Take Control book people at:

http://www.takecontrolbooks.com/vmware-fusion-3

In addition to the free download. The book contains coupon codes on
page 4 for a 50% discount on your next order of Take Control books.

HTH

Cheers,

Esther
