Installing a program does not place it on the dock, it's in your
applications folder. In the finder, press command shift a to open this
folder, the application should be there.

This is probably a stupid question, but where can I find a program I
installed on my mac? I got the message that the installation was
complete, but don’t see the program on the doc.
