Hi, My impression is that doing a clean install, doing 2-3 recovery from Time Machine makes the mac run with less busy announcements. Also, encrypt the disk seems to help, but don’t forget the password.
Make the backup partition smaller with an external drive for music and movies or maybe partition the internal drive with programs and documents only on the backup partition and music on the other. Maybe that works i.e. the partition method. Haven’t tried it on mac yet. Goes for the external drive option. This is important for me personally because i don’t want to wait 2 ours or more for the recovery from backup to finish. All theese steps is for the convience of haveing an mac with less busy announcements. Take care -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
