Okay All, first off, anybody who wants to flame me for this on-list, just don’t bother. :)
Flame me off-list, it’s more fun that way! lol! Honestly, are you all serious? You wonder why we moderate the list. Here’s why; because you are showing right here and now that you apparently can’t manage yourselves without attacking and sniping at each other. This is what I like to call ape-think. to those who believe in a ‘religion’ that’s great. To those who don’t, fine. Can we just stop sniping at each other about this. This is frankly a ridiculous show of heat rather than light, and is incredibly pointless, destructive and just plain irritating. You all are smart people. Every single one of us has strong feelings and beliefs about many things. Can we simply just realize that and leave it there? We all think our beliefs are the right ones, otherwise we would not have them. So that’s obvious. So just realize that the person you’re talking to thinks (with much conviction) that their view is the best view. This list is not the place to either try to enlighten, correct, or lecture to them. So just take this sort of thing off the list, K? Quite honestly, I’d personally love to see a list where all this sort of thing is discussed without any sort of rules, but that would most likely just result in endless name-calling and flaming etc, but alas this is not that list.
