Yeah, I’m not getting gigabit, As for getting a new router, yeah that’s a great Idea however the provider isn’t happy about using a router that is not supported by them, guess they don’t have control over it and can’t block things like they currently can.

Definitely clear the 100 megabit blockage and make that gigabit. Also, your router may not be able to forward at a gig. You may need to upgrade your router. To test this try sending a file from one directly wired computer to another. If it’s not the maximum throughput then it’s time to forklift the router and replace it with a new one. Not sure how it took this long, but glad it’s done. I’m not buying Google’s product; I like the Apple solution.
