As a TV-licence-fee payer, I suppose I should be glad you all appreciate BBC content so much, but also rather resentful at the idea that you’re getting all this lovely content for free while I have to fork out actual cash for it, you swine! :)
Geoblocking is utterly braindead, and every effort to undermine it can and should be heartily encouraged. So, go ahead. I just hope the Beeb don’t get around to authenticating each and every viewer, or that your VPN provider of choice isn’t blocked, as they seem damned determine to pitch in with their content licensers at the expense of all and sundry, including the fee-payer. Mind you though, it’s a pretty big imbalance. Netflix content availability is crap here in the UK, and the VPN crackdown is well and truly in force. Even using an IPv6 tunnel broker no longer works—more’s the pity. :) -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
