Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't know what I'd do if the Air and the Pro were the same price (I'm going to wait till the next gen comes out, so they probably won't be then.) I find that the Air really meets my needs just fine, so I'm not sure I'd choose the bigger, heavier Machine. Especially now that the 11-inch Pro is no longer an option.
