Not to be pedantic, but I want to offer one small correction. The 11-inch Air
start5s with 4GB of ram, whereas the 12-inch Macbook starts with 8GB. Internal
drive space is 128GB to start on the Air, and 256GB on the Retina Macbook. Yes,
the keyboard is awkward (though I didn't use it enough to know if I'd get used
to it) and the processor is less powerful. To say that the Air has more memory,
though, is incorrect. Sure, you could bump up the specs in your Air and wind up
with a better machine, but you'll also pay more. I'm not recommending the
Retina Macbook at this point either, but I want to be sure people know what
models have what.
