I think annouk's point isn't so much that they can't purchase one, but  
that it's the principle of the issue.  I agree with Scott, that these  
are the potential pitfalls of having someone else decide what  
technology you get to have, and I'm also glad I get to make my own  
choices.  That said, to force governments--or anyone else to buy their  
product by claiming that the Mac is not a viable option is really  
playing dirty.  It'd serve them right if Apple sued them for making  
false claoms or some such.
