Jonathan, I almost never deal with my Gmail account from the web. I guess I can change my Archive mailbox from All Mail to Trash on my phone and at least stop the damage from now on. Other than that, it doesn’t look like I have many options. Again, I never considered the solution to reside on the Gmail Web side. i always figured it was something I could do on the iPhone side. Since no one seems to have any more suggestions relating to that, I guess I’m probably done.
