Hi Anne/Ester, So i've tried all your suggestions to no avail.
I think i made the mistake long ago when i just got my mac, to delete the mailbox called on my mac. Yes you can do it. And once it's done, you're left disordered like entropy in a can of soda full of mails that you can't order with rules and mailboxes. I think i will need to make a full reinstall of the mail app, backing up my preferences as this is the only solution i see. ARGGHH...
