A much wiser man than myself is quoted as saying, “A society that is willing to surrender privacy for the sake of security shall have neither.”
I completely support the position Tim Cook and Apple has taken in this matter. The real question in this matter should be - why isn’t our government willing to take the steps to bring the individuals driving this mad terrorism to justice? I’m sure western governments are quietly taking measures to make those persons accountable, but I believe we need a number more of Bin Laden like operations to “help” those folks understand the errors of their ways.
