frist of all

you need to go into settings and set up your account
you have to give a creditcard to pay
you need to let uber access your location this is why your friend saw 5 cars
next you can choose current location that way as a pick up
you can do the address if you know what it is
now when you select get a ride or what ever it is called, the cool thing is
when a driver answers you will get a discription of the drriver i.e. make of
car, color, andlicense number. now i know not to effictive for blind, but
there is now a button to contact driver and you can call or text and tell the
driver your visually inpared and discribe yourself and they need to look for
you.
