Alas, no! There is no go to cell function in numbers that I have been able to 
find. The only thing you can do is to search for some unique information that 
might get you close. Even that though is a bit of a pain. As far as 
inadvertently adding rows, this happens whenever you use the option key along 
with a down or up arrow or right and left arrow for that matter. Up-and-down 
arrows will add rows above and below where you are option right and left will 
add columns. I do this a lot and you just have to select the roads are columns 
and hit delete in the context menu.
A go to cell function would be an excellent addition to numbers. Maybe we 
should suggest it to Apple.
