Hi Anne,

A few things to check. BrailleNote’s Bluetooth is very, very hit and miss, to
be charitable about it.

Make sure Bluetooth is on on BrailleNote (Options, Connectivity, Bluetooth on).

Clear the computer name, if one is set. Options, Connectivity, Setup Options.
It should be APEXnnnnnn, last six digits based on serial number. If it’s
anything else at all, this will not work. This is non-optional.

Restart the unit by quickly pressing the reset button (top left).

Start the braille terminal, choose Bluetooth. Make sure it announces that it’s
in Braille Terminal.

Now, connect the Mac or iOS device. Pairing code 0000.

I hope you figure out what the problem was.

Of course, USB client connectivity works, every time. I highly recommend it.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
