Mary, there are a lot of factors. Maybe for example Chris lives next to a cell tower so the radio doesn’t have to blast as much output to contact the tower. The transmit level is variable I believe. Also, if you live in an area with low service you’ll be pinging the network more. Chris might be using type N or type G WiFi instead of type AC which draws less and then there’s just the variables in usage what’s heavy usage to one may not be heavy to another and so forth. Battery benchmarking with out specific tools is tricky at best.
