Hi Scott, I am new to T-Mobile, so I have no history with them to comment on. I have not noticed any particular difference between my coverage with them and with Verizon in and around town. I have gotten conflicting word from T-Mobile regarding the whole issue of band 12 and whether or not it is up and running. Most say no, but some say yes. There is a channel 51, but it is over the mountains and probably 75-100 miles as the crow flies. That is a guest. More importantly, are those mountains, the Cascades. Not your mom is foothills. So I don't know why that restriction would impact us, but some say it does. How can you test at home as you said you did, to see which band you were using? YMary
