You have to reboot the computer into the recovery partition by pressing and holding command-r for about ten seconds. Then, give it a bit and start VoiceOver with command-F5. You should have the Recovery options available to you, and use VO-m to get to the menu bar. Navigate right to the Utilities menu and then go down to, Terminal. Press VO-space and then when the terminal window is open, type, all one word, resetpassword
This should give you a GUI interface to choose the account you want and reset the password of that user. Take Care John D.
