I'm sure he will. All I meant was, if it gets to where he wants to discuss
audio matters in general, that would at some point get to a point where it
would be OT for this list. Therefore, I was simply just inviting him to
write me off list, if he felt it necessary. I don't think it should be up
to you to make a decision for him, with all due respect. If he wants to
write me off list, it's a free country. let 'em!

Let's start there.
You probably can get an adapter. The only concern though I'd have is, you
might also need to get a converter. The reason is because you will need
some way to convert the analog signal from the IMac to a digital signal.
I'm an audio engineer, so if you'd like to write me off list, I'll try to
